Breakfast At Bruxie

I got the Turkey Club:
roast turkey, avocado, tomato, lettuce and cheese on a waffle. So delicious!

Caramel sundae waffle and fries, also delicious.
I went to Bruxie with Sam for some of the best waffles I've ever had. Bruxie's motto must be everything is better on a waffle! They're famous for their chicken sandwich waffle, which also a must try. However, I decided to be adventurous and try the Turkey Club since I love avocado and bacon. I think I might like it better than the chicken club! They also have waffle fries and amazing desert waffles. The one pictures above is the sundae waffle, which is drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with nuts. If you're ever at the Orange Circle Bruxie is a must try!

Gold Sunglasses: Vintage
Hi-Lo Knit Sweater: H&M
Black Leather Back Pack: Vintage
Levi's Jean Button Down Skirt: Thrifted in Long Beach
Sheer Tights & Glitter Socks: Target
Creepers: T.U.K.

I've been obsessed with this black sweater from H&M, its so easy to pair with anything. I love skirts that have front button closures, I thrifted this skirt in Long Beach a year ago, and I'm still wearing it to death. The sunglasses I got off of Ebay and I cannot get enough of them, they class up any outfit and are the perfect contrast with my silver jewelry. I've also been loving layering a silver and rose gold name necklace that my friend Hang gave me with a lotus charm necklace, you can see these details in the OOTD video I'll be posting tomorrow!

Downtown Long Beach

Faux Fur Lapel Moto Jacket: H&M
Drapey Sheer White T-shirt: American Apparel
Velvet leggings: Forever 21
Buckle Boots: Forever 21

Took these photos with Momo in downtown Long Beach. It was crazy to take a walk down memory lane with all the concerts and conventions I've been to at the LB convention center. I wore a very casual and lazy outfit for walking around and comfort. I've been living in my Buck Booties from Forever21 because they go with everything and are so comfortable, perfect for stomping around in the city. Lately I've been in a rather colorless mood so that would explain the lack of color in the outfit. University has started back up again and totally slowed down my rate of videos and posts, time to get back into the grind. Video should be up some time tomorrow~

REVIEW: Revlon balm stains

From top to bottom the colors are:
045 Romantique,
Matte Balm 225 Sultry,
001 Honey

I have seen a lot of reviews of the these balm stains and decided to give them a try. The first one I purchased, totally on a whim, was the orange based red color, 045 Romantique. I liked the idea of having a flushed color to my lips witht he consistency of chapstick but I shoudk have gone for a deeper red because sometiems the color is too orange for my skin tone. I loved the formula and mint flavor so much that I decided to invenst in some more colors.
The matte balm stain in 225 Sultry is the newest edition to my collection and I am obsessed. Since I have lips that tend to get dry easy I have to prep with a lip balm, let that sink in and then apply the matte balm. I like this color so much because it is somewhere between taupe and mauve and is a great way to vamp up a look with still looking natural. Lastly 001 Honey is by far my favorite out of the three the colors. It is gorgeous and naturallooking it provides the perfect flush of pink to any pout. All of these have become beauty staples and taken up permanant residence in my purse.
